We are currently seeking a new Lay member - Could that be you?

 

As part of the Thurrock Local Safeguarding Children Board's (LSCB) commitment to engaging communities in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and Young People, we have two Lay Member positions on our board.

 

Thurrock LSCB's role is to ensure that local agencies provide the best possible services for safeguarding Children and Young People of Thurrock. We are a body of local multi agency representatives, elected to oversee the implementation of safeguarding systems processes and services.

 

The role of the Lay Member is to take part in the Board meetings and support our understanding of the LSCB's Child Protection work in the wider community.
