SET PROCEDURES UPDATED  - MAY 2017

The revised guidance reflects the new definition and guidance for CSE that was agreed and published by the national government earlier in 2017.

It also outlines the new CSE Risk and Vulnerabilities Assessment, which is available within the SET (Southend, Essex & Thurrock) CSE Toolbox. This has been developed to help professionals in all agencies, who have a concern about a child or young person, to assess what level of risk they may be at.

Welcome to the Thurrock LSCB website. We hope you find the site a useful reference and information source.

 

Thurrock Local Safeguarding Children Board role is to ensure that local agencies provide the best possible services for safeguarding children and the young people of Thurrock.

 

We are a body of local multi agency representatives, that oversee the implementation of safeguarding systems processes and services for children and young people. More information about what we do can be found in the About section of this website.

 

Our aim for this site is to provide a useful resource for the community of Thurrock whether you are a professional, parent, carer, child or young person. We want you to find this site helpful in supporting safeguarding and keeping you appraised of the changing world of safeguarding children.
